Whoopi Goldberg, famous actor and comedian, has now written a children's
book called, "Whoopi's Big Book of Manners." On December 6th, 2006 Tommy had
the pleasure of meeting Whoopi at Border's Books in NYC. Whoopi personally
autographed 5 of her books to the Childhood Cancer Society which have been
donated to The Cancer Institute of NJ, Children's oncology ward, and St.
Joseph's Children's Hospital in Paterson, NJ . They had the opportunity to
discuss the organization and Whoopi was so over overwhelmed that she called
him her Hero! With that on December 8th at 8:30 AM during her morning radio
show on KTU 103.5 FM she spoke about how Tommy began Childhood Cancer
Society, and where it is today. On Sunday December 10th, Mike Opelka
interviewed Tommy on his morning talk show. Thanks to Whoopi and Mike for
getting the word out about Childhood Cancer Society.
